VINTAGE JEANS | THRIFTED SWEATER | BANDANA | MATISSE BOOTS | URBAN OUTFITTERS BELT

This past Saturday, Michael and I took a little road trip upstate to Storm King Art Center. I had posted on my IG story asking for must see places during the fall that aren't too far, and about 5 people recommended this place, and now I see why. It was the perfect little getaway and all of the landscapes were just to die for.

I got these vintage jeans in LA at a shop my friend Tricia told me about, Jet Rag Vintage. They were the only pair of jeans I had picked up and they fit me like a glove. I love the cool shade of indigo against the warmth of this sweater, and the ruffle detail keeps it interesting. This is probably one of my favorite looks to date.

On a different note, I wanted to tell you guys a little bit about what's going on in my life right now. A few people had asked me "what I do" on Instagram. It feels weird to talk about my life because sometimes, I can't believe it's mine (because it's so damn good). A few months ago, me, Michael and our best friend Sarah moved to Bushwick into a cozy 2 bedroom apartment. It's been such a joy to decorate and create a space that we all love and call home. I'm currently in the editorial department at Cosmo/Seventeen, which is why you see me asking really weird questions, usually about sex, on my social media. It's been an absolute dream to be there and I feel so lucky to be able to do work for such respected publications. I also feel lucky to be at a place where we have happy hour every Thursday in office (let's be real). One day we had a "snack time" with Taco Bell (like...kk I love you). I'm finishing up my last semester of school, I will officially be done in December! I feel like I've been at this for a while and I'm getting excited to put college behind me and get on with my life. I'm grateful to have gotten such an amazing education that has opened so many doors for me, but ummmm, it's time to actually get out there and see what I'm really made of. So far since living in New York I have already surprised myself a bunch by what I have accomplished and I'm just trying to get to know myself even more, without having to worry about discussion boards or when my next paper is due....you feel me?

That pretty much sums up my life currently. When I'm not working or doing school work, I'm usually home (okay, I'm always home) or maaaaybe exploring somewhere with Mike when I feel like actually leaving the apartment. I'm going to do a blog post soon of an apartment tour and why I love to be home so much!
