New year......same me but better (hopefully). I wasn't intending to share a blog post like this, but so many of my fellow bloggers have shared theirs and I've gotten some great ideas from them. So, I thought it would be fun to share mine too! Also, writing in general sets things deeper into my mind, so I'm hoping this will help me keep my goals at the top of my head.

 

1. CHANGE MY SLEEP SCHEDULE. 

Honestly this has been a goal of mine for years. I can't seem to change my sleep schedule and stick to it. I am not a morning person at all and I want to cry as soon as I hear my alarm each morning. But, after going through some health things last year, I really finally want to be the healthiest, happiest version of myself, and I know this will help. Now that I've started my full time job, I think it will be easier now that I'm basically forced to wake up at the same time 5 days a week. I'd like to be asleep by 11:30 and up at 7:30. If anyone has any good ways to maintain this/make mornings more enjoyable, please leave me a comment!

2. TAKE BETTER CARE OF MY SKIN.

I've always had weird combination skin and a bad habit of picking at it. I only go to masks when I break out, and I want to change that. I want to mask at least 3 times a week, even when and especially when my skin is calm and clear. I also have like 35 wrinkles under each eye along with puffiness and I'm reealllyyyy sick of looking at it. So,I want to consistently use one of my 105 eye creams I have in my drawers to try to combat it. Leave me a comment if you know of any magical eye care remedies!

3. WORK OUT 3 TIMES A WEEK - EVERY WEEK

Ohhhh the joy of working out, something that I sometimes love and sometimes hate and something that is just necessary to your health. I'll get really into it for a month, stop going for a month, go for a week, and then not go for 35 weeks. I think part of that was my schedule changing every few months while I was in school and interning. Now that I have a set schedule, I think it will be easy enough to keep this routine and really be honest with myself if there is a reason I feel like I need to skip it that day, or if I really need to go in order to feel better.

That's it! I didn't want to overwhelm myself with 25 resolutions or things that I know I just can't obtain, so I chose 3 small goals that I can work on and that will benefit my quality of life. Do you guys have any good goals for the new year?! Share them with me below!
