If there's one thing I appreciate, it's a good mug or cup. I have a shelf in my apartment dedicated to just that, and It's nearly overflowing, but I'm so excited to add these beauties to the collection.
These were made by CT/PA based artist Jacklyn Scott, and they're just the tip of the iceberg that is the wood fired creations she makes. They're thrown on a wheel at high temps, glazed, and wood fired in a Japanese kiln at 2300 degrees for seven days. As someone who knows little about this craft, I'm honestly a bit amazed by it all and love having something that so much time and love was put into.

As creative individuals, and just people in general, I think it's very important to support one another in all of our ideas and endeavors. There is so much out there to create and we'll only be able to continue to do so with support and encouragement.
